Denmark advance in FIFA rankings

E-mail Print

The Danish national football team is now ranked fifteenth, according to governing body FIFA

Four months after Denmark’s worst ever FIFA ranking, Morten Olsen’s squad is heading back up the rankings thanks to their 1-0 victory over Sweden last month.

The latest FIFA world football rankings see Denmark jump nine places to number 15.

Meanwhile Brazil, fresh from winning the Confederation Cup, Brazil has regained the rankings top spot, a position they last held in August 2007.

Denmark’s best ever FIFA placement was in May 1997 when they were ranked third.
