Only one of two valuable Audis stolen from eight-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen have been recovered

Eight-time Le Mans champion Tom Kristensen woke up Monday evening at his home in central Jutland to find two of his personal Audi cars missing from his garage.

One, an Audi Q7, was found abandoned at a nearby hotel by police on Wednesday. But the other, an R8, has not yet been located. The cars are valued at around 2 million kroner each.

‘It’s never nice to have your home violated,’ Kristensen told Nordjyske Stiftstidende newspaper. ‘But beyond that the incident was pretty un-dramatic.’
