The wife of a cancer-stricken man has kept his body in the couple’s home on Fyn for two months

The woman kept her husband’s body in their house for two months without notifying authorities of his death, public broadcaster DR reports.

Relatives of the couple called police after they became worried about the man, who was suffering from cancer.

When police arrived at the address they found the dead body of the 65-year-old man. Medical examiners determined he had died about two months earlier.

The 66-year-old woman will be charged with failing to ensure medical assistance for her husband.
