There has been an increase in people buying helicopters as more and more executives use them to nip around the country

The number of domestically registered helicopters has more than doubled in the last four years. In 2005, there were 57 helicopters registered in Denmark, a number that has increased to 122 this year.

‘It has been popular to own your own helicopter,’ said Thorbjørn Ancker of the Civil Aviation Administration. ‘We’re also seeing a trend in companies buying helicopters to transport their management quickly around the country.’
