Japanese car giant again has serious problems with its vehicles’ accelerators and is recalling millions of SUVs
Around 30,000 Toyota RAV 4 vehicles are being recalled by the manufacturer due to problems with the accelerator pedals, reports public broadcaster DR.
According to the Japanese company, a manufacturing error has resulted in many of the SUVs’ accelerator pedals to stick.
In the US, more than 2 million RAV 4s are being recalled just months after Toyota was forced to recall 4.2 million of its Camry, Prius, and Lexus models due to the floor mats sliding up into the accelerators. The Japanese company is facing several lawsuits in the country for accidents allegedly resulting from the defects.
Toyota Denmark is urging all RAV 4 owners to immediately take their vehicles back to their dealer to have the problem fixed free of charge.
