Lars Dalgaard has invested big in a move that could cement his company’s lead in the business solutions software market

Multi-millionaire Lars Dalgaard and his SuccessFactors company have reportedly paid around 200 million kroner for Australian IT company Inform Business Impact.

Dalgaard’s company paid 40.5 million Australian dollars for the firm, which will ‘dramatically boost the company’s market-leading Business Execution Software (BizX) solution’, according to IT news website Computerworld.

Computerworld calls SuccessFactors ‘the global leader in business execution software’ and says the acquisition will allow the company to add a few more Fortune 500 companies to its already impressive portfolio.

Dalgaard, who is CEO of SuccessFactors, founded the Nasdaq-listed company in 2001 in San Mateo, California. Besides its economic success, the company has continually been rated as one of the US’ ‘Best Places to Work’.
