Pump production company boycotts Scandinavian Airlines because of dissatisfaction with bonus system

Grundfos employees will no longer fly with SAS Scandinavian Airlines after an order from company management.

‘SAS is no longer the preferred partner to deliver Grundfos business trips,’ an internal Grundfos memo reads.

The pump production company’s communications chief Kim Nøhr Skibsted explained that the boycott came after SAS withdrew from a deal that ensured Grundfos received full value for the bonus points its employees earned on their many journeys.

He said SAS was pushing away its most important customers by changing the bonus system.

‘We’ve tried to create a dialogue, but received a polite decline,’ Nøhr Skibsted said.
