Medical product manufacturer Coloplast moves a big portion of its operations to China and Hungary

Cheaper labour and production costs have prompted health care product manufacturer Coloplast to move almost half of its operations to China and Hungary.

According to a company press release, about half of its 900 positions in Denmark will be transferred over the next 18 months. In addition, 193 workers will be laid off at Coloplast’s facilities in Thisted, Fredensborg, Humlebæk and Nivå.

The company’s Jutland facilities at Thisted and Mørdrup will thereafter be restructured into a central innovation and competence centre.

And now we have this month's Danish darling company shoving off. Yet more proof that the wage requirements of Danish workers directly attributed to their tax burden make them uncompetitive in the global economy.

Until Danes realize that their borderline communistic society supported by the heaviest tax burden in the world makes them uncompetitive, more and more companies will flee, jobs will be lost and DK will continue it's free fall in the world competitiveness rankings.

So, when the local elections occur, if you want to tax ourselves into obilivion and have a place in the unemployment line behind the former Coloplast employees, make sure you vote in the likes of Helle & Villy.

Otherwise, get used to the fact that the world economy (and Danish companies themselves which is evidenced here) aren't willing to subsidize our public golden parachute and rediculiously high wages.

What this article didnt mention is the fact that the exchange rate between the Yuan and Kroner is now buggered from a Chinese point of view, courtesy of the Euro and the ERM.

The Eurozone and ERM countries are faced with a one euro to 1 dollar 50 cents rate.

Europe cannot compete with China anyway, this rate just makes things even worse.

It's ironic that a communist country like China has its business head screwed firmly on, while the so-called capitalist Euro countries have their business heads stuck in the sand (or up their own arses).

I would say "here here" to you both if it wasn't for the fact that nobody seems to hear here!

China- Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
Europe - Sheep in Wolf's Clothing
Denmark - Pig in Pig's Clothing

Capitalism will always be a victim of its own success, because the individuals who don't succeed in being part of it, become politicians who act against it, for the "common good", which means the good of other fellow sponger's of society.
